Explore the most five popular destination cities in China to enjoy their remarkable natural scenery, historical sites and to savor the local cuisine food. The tour will begin with the capital city, Beijing which is renowned for its opulent palaces, temples, parks and gardens, tombs, walls and gates, and its art treasures. From Beijing, we will be heading to Xian, the oldest ancient capital of China and home to Terracotta army. After exploring Xian, we will be flying to ‘Forbidden City’ Lhasa in Tibet where the ancient Tibet religious culture and heritage sites will us well occupied. Next fly to Chengdu to witness the city’s beautiful sites, to taste it’s fame cuisine and to see the famous Giant Pandas. Our tour then will take you to visit the most historic and splendid sites in long-history Shanghai city.

Day 1 Arrival Beijing

Arrive Beijing International Airport. You will be met at the airport by your guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to either rest or explore on your own around the hotel. Get ready for the next day.

Day 2 Beijing

In morning visit to Tiananmen Square, a site of several important events in Chinese history and to the Forbidden City which is 594 years old Chinese imperial palace. In afternoon visit to Temple Of Heaven which was visited by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368–1911) for annual ceremonies, when they focused on prayers for a good harvest.. At night Peking Opera will be available for entertainment.

Day 3 Beijing

In morning, 75 km drive to the Badaling which is the most visited section of the Great Wall of China and then to Ming Tombs where 13 Ming dynasty emperors were buried. It has 980 buildings and covers 180 acres. In the evening you will taste the world-renowned Beijing roast duck, the perfect way to complete a classic Beijing day tour.

Day 4 Arrival Xian

In morning, visit to the Summer Palace, a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces. It was used by the emperors to escape the heat of Beijing. After lunch, you will taken to Beijing West Railway Station to catch the afternoon high speed train to Xian. Upon arriving at Xian, you will be met and transferred to hotel by your local guide.

Day 5 Xian

The exploration continues with the visit to Terracotta Army in the morning where funerary art collection of terracotta sculptures are displayed depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is considered as the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. After lunch back to Xian downtown. Then climb up to Ancient Xian City Wall on foot ( biking and rickshaw will be available at your own expense). Then a leisure stroll in Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a well-preserved Tang Dynasty Buddha temple. Walk around Muslim street and surroundings.

Day 6 Arrival Lhasa

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by your guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is for you to rest and acclimatize.

Day 7 Lhasa

After breakfast at hotel, a full day excursion of the Lhasa which will begin with the visit to Potala Palace- one of seven wonders of world according to USA today in 2006. It is now a museum and world heritage site. Then to Jokhang temple, most sacred temple in Tibet with important collection of cultural artifacts. Barkhor is the market square in the heart of Lhasa which has the trek path for pilgrims to circumambulate the Jokhang shrine. It is a short 20m minutes walk around the Jokhang.

Day 8 Lhasa

After breakfast, exploring Lhasa continues with the visit to the two of the three great monasteries of Tibet Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. After that visit to Norbulingka which served as the traditional summer residence of the successive Dalai Lamas.

Day 9 Arrival Chengdu

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival you will be met at the airport by your guide and transferred to your hotel to catch up with some good rest.

Day 10 Chengdu

After breakfast at your hotel, head to Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre, 10 km north of Chengdu city center. The Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Center has been constructed and imitated the pandas' natural habitat in the hope that they could have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. After lunch, we will move on to Sanxingdui Museum, 30 km north of the giant panda center. Sanxingdui Museum is a cultural relic of the ancient Shu (Sichuan). Sanxingdui refers to three earth piles at the site, hence Sanxingdui Relic. The museum was formally opened to public in October 1997. Back to your hotel. Hot Pot in Sichuan Style will be available for dinner.

Day 11 Shanghai

After breakfast at your hotel and have a half day sightseeing in Chengdu including the visits to Thatched Du Fu Cottage and Wuhou Temple. Du Fu cottage was built in memory of great poet Du FU. Wuhou temple was built in the sixth century to commemorate Zhuge Liang (Kongming), known for his great wisdom. He was a famous military strategist of the tree Kingdoms period (AD220-280) - the three kingdoms are Wei, Shu and Wu that formed the three "Sub-country" Confrontation in ancient China. After lunch , transferred to Chengdu Airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival you will be met at the airport by your guide and transferred to your hotel to catch up with some good rest.

Day 12 Shanghai

First visit Jade Buddha temple, a Buddhist temple build in 1882 to keep two precious jade Buddha statues which had been brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen and then visit to Yuyuan Garden which is a fully restored classical Chinese garden. Then visit to nearby old street. Continue the trip to Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Then proceed to visit The Bund, one of the most noted waterfront and architectural symbols of Shanghai. In the evening breathtaking Acrobatic Show will be there as your optional night entertainment.

Day 13 Departure Shanghai

Since it's the last day, you can arrange your day freely until be transferred to the airport for the return flight or the flight to your next stop.
